Hello,
Yesterday I blew a tire on the highway driving about 80. I thought I blew the engine/turbo because my car was shaking violently as soon as I started to boost. I pulled over immediately, and my rear right tire was shredded.
Anyways, I replaced the tire with the factory steely temp. one to get me back home.....
...But when I shook the rear of the car to make sure the tire was on snug, I can hear a mild "clinging" from the wheelwell. Kinda like a small cowbell going back and forth with the movement. Car drove fine with the temp., and I can't hear the clinging while driving (More that likely its because the exhaust is overpowering the clinging noise)
Did I damage something? I probably drove it about 15-25 yards before pulling over.
Also what "conditional" checks should I do to make sure I didn't damage anything else while driving on a flat?
