I have a 95 eclipse gs and the timing belt skipped a few teeth... problem is that i can not get the crankshaft pulley off.. i tried to use a crankshaft pulley from the auto zone rent a tool.. but none of them worked... i actually got a shaft stuck in the middle where the bolt goes thru.. luckily i just got it out.. but it wasnt easy.. i have the entire engine out of the car as i wanted to redue the complete engine.. pulley is shot.. i have pounded the crap out of it and it still wont work.. i even set up up right and hooked the engine host to it and kept it elevated about 2 inches off the ground while i used the crank pulley again.. again.. nothing.. man.. this thing isnt moving.. any suggustions.. i was thinking about cutting it off but i dont want to hurt my crankshaft.. looks to be in very good condion.. please help.. been stuck on this stage for a week now.. thanks..
