CEL on after my 02 Simulator install

I had a CEL on my 99 GSX after i took off my cat and added the APexi N1 DP. i was then told to get a 02 Sim from www.02simulator.com and now my light is still on, after i reset the ECU. could this be becacuse i hooked it up wrong. Has anyone else had this Problem.

Never mind I fixed it. when i had put the carpet back down it had came unhooked
