The other day I was comming home from school and had my cruise control set at about 65ish. I was watching my boost gauge and it was kind of moving between 0 and 10 inches, then I stated going down a slight incline and it held at zero. I was thinking, WTF? So I stepped on the gas just a tiny bit, and almost instantly I head a POP noise comming from the engine bay. It sounded as like it was came from the lower part of the drivers side of the engine. As soon as this happened I looked at my guages and my coolant temps were fine and my oil pressure was right where is was supposed to be. I let off the cruise, and then all of the sudden the oil pressure light came on. As soon as I saw that light come on I turn off the car and coasted to the side of the road. I then called up a dsm buddy of mine to come pick me up... Before we left we tried cranking in over and it wouldn't. All it would do is click (the starter). So I got it towed to my house. I haven't really gotten a chance to start tearing it apart, but so far the timming belt seems to be intact. My theory is that the balance shaft belt snapped. But any other theories are welcome!
Thanks for any opinions! I WILL get to the bottom of this.

PS- It sucks ass, seeing as it was the third day out of storage and only 210 miles on the new turbo!
Also, I forgot to mension that the car has oil, it didn't loose any, however there was a small wet oil spot on the road after I pulled over under the oilfilter housing. The car had been leaking a little bit from the turbo oil feed line. But it was only about a drop or two everytime I parked the car. The amount under the car after it broke down was more than usual, but not enough to cause the engine to kill itself.
