Intercooler corrosion

Ok I have been battling boost leak for a while and trying to figure out where it was. I pressurized the turbo system (I will post pictures later of the process) and I am guessing it wasn't even holding boost. SO it was in the comon intercooler outlet pipe corrosion. (pic)

How do I fix this now? Do I put some putty weld on this or...? THANKS!!

I would say just use some JB weld on it, make sure u clean it well and apply evenly and you should be good to go!

I've had that before, just scrap off the corrision and it should be fine.
Clean the IC while you have it off, too.

I'd try scrpaing it down with a wire brush or something and then coating it in JB weld.

a used stock smic is cheap any number of places... dont risk sucking jbweld into your motor.. get a used one..

well i am risking putting JB weld on it but I am going to search around for a replacement. This happens to be my DD so I need it working for a week or two for a little bit. It works really well now! Imagine that fixing major boostleak and the car runs really well!
