Plug Pics. Bad Turbo Seals?

I pulled my plugs over the weekend, and I found that they had a crusty black material on them and the tips were white. I have also been blowing smoke when under High boost and while shifting. The car still passes I.M. tests and doesn't smoke on idle or when revved high. It only happens when under boost. Could my turbo seals be going bad? I also notived oil in my intake and a bit of oil on the "lip" of the turbo where the intake attaches.

I would greatly appreciate help.

Shawnathan, why are you using those plugs in the first place? :confused: If you don't have then 10 bucks to spend, I'll send you a Hamilton. ;)

When I completely blew my T25 it would smoke whenever the car was running. However, before the seals completely blew, someone noticed (while driving behind me) that there was excess smoke when I was boosting. However, I never noticed anything just walking around the car until I really blew the seals. If you start to notice that the oil is being consumed too fast (the oil level on the dipstick going down too fast) and you have no other oil leaks, then the snail is probably on its way out. Check your oil level every morning before you start the car up for about a week or two.

BTW, how's the PCV valve lookin'?
 
Well I would buy for one I'm short on money right now and I'd rather keep this as reliable as possible and make my AWD fast

I had one of my friend behind me the other day when I got into boost and he called me and said smelled like somethine was burning but I dunno. I think I will just pull the car into the garage and put another turbo on since I already have a 14B just sitting in my tool box
 
I'm 99.9% sure Shawno got his turbo problem fixed, and I'm also pretty sure I brought up the spark plug issue with him already. :)

Anyone with smoke coming out of their exhaust should check for shaft play, then do a compression/leakdown test.

Those are actually the stock plugs that came with the car that had 82k on them. I remember this because when I went to the dealer, the part number was the same and they tried to sell me more of those style of NGKs.

I then went to my local Autozone and bought the style better suited for the 4g63t.

Sucks to be me then. I remember asking about installing Evo 3 & 8 OEM IMs back when I was a noob, and I'm still talking about them. LOL I haven't changed at all.
