I have had a sound (clunk, thud, or pop) which ever you choose comming from the front of the car while I am in slow turns. It happens in turns going forwards or reverse both left and right. I noticed also that when I am in a slow turn along with the noise it feels as if the wheels are rubbing on somthing and causing the car to want to stop almost as if the brakes were on. Also the clutch feels as if it is slipping but the cluth is new. I loose traction easy while driving in the rain. I have been looking this up for about a month now and know that it is NOT THE CV JOINTS OR HALF SHAFTS. I have replaced them and had the car up on jacks and can't see anything wrong with any bolts or bushings. PLEASE help I can't figure it out neither can the tranny shop that I have taken it to.

Maybe this will help diagnose your problem. Jack up your car. Now place one hand at 3 and other at 9 oclock positions and try to rock the wheel side to side if you have play in the wheel your tie rods probably need replacing. Now check the wheel with your hands at 12 and 6 olclock and rock the wheel up and down if you have play its probably a wheel bearing.
Goodluck

Thank you I think I may have found the problem. There is play on the right side. It is not a lot of play but compared to the left side which has no play at all. thank you so much you saved me a lot of time and money.
