tach signal?

Where do I tee a 5" tach into for the tach signal.- It says tach terminal or coil, I dont have a coil ( 2G), so where do I tap to give the tach its RPM signal, where is the Tach Terminal?

All stock dsm's have a coil (follow spark plug wires) unless of course you replaced the ignition system with some super dupper thing. The tach signal used by the stock tach is taken from the white wire (pin 4) of the power transistor unit (8 pin connector) which is a special signal. If that doesn't work you can use one that goes to the coils blue/black (pin 1) or black/white (pin 8) on the same connector although you may have 1/2 the reading.
