Hello
This was my first timing and blanceshaft belt change. I aligned the camshafts by the two inner timing marks like shown here.
I put a ruler accros and the line was going right through the middle of the bolts. Now outter marks did not align like in the picture shown below. I went by the first pic.
Now the car runs just fine but it doesnt idle good at all. When its idlling the engine is shaking like I never seen it do before. Also it sounds like its missfiring, (not sure if that is the proper word to use,) when im standing next to the exhaust.
What could be the problem?
Did i screw up while aligning the camshafts?
Balance shaft belt not tensioned properly?
I sure it has nothing to do with the spark plug wires , they are almost brand new.
Im just starting to learn about cars in general. I knew nothing more than oil changes prior to this.
