weird problems today...

ok.. my speedometer on my dash and in my rev/speed are not working yet the wires seem to be tight. im going to check it out tomorrow during the day.

my car has stalled twice, both times i wasn't going fast at all. the first time i was in traffic going slow.. just dies when i go to stop.. the second time was a few minutes ago, i was dropping heather off at class, i was in a parking lot, car just dies.

it starts back up immediatly and i go without a problem.. i dont know if the two are tied together or not but im going to find out tomorrow.

is there a sensor behind the gauge cluster? next to the speedo? looks like a cross. if so this is the vehicle speed sensor( it monitors the speed of your car and adjusts the amount of feul accordingly less feul when decelerating, and more feul when accelerating). it may be bad. it's a dealer only item.

how this gives you some direction.

well, unhooked my rev speed meter from the speed sensor wire coming off the ecu and the speedometer in my dash works now. i dont see how i could have created a short because the wire is wrapped with other wires in heat shrink all the way to the meter.

ive left it unhooked for now, im going to run a test to see if that was causing the car to die for some reason.
