Well, this has been the absolute worst week with the car so far..

Yesterday, I was driving to school when the pedal started feeling really soft and the sweep of engaging and disengaging was extremely short and low.

The next thing I know I have no clutch at all and I can't shift or anything. I drift into a driveway and call a tow truck.
Not only does the tow truck tear the hell out of the bottom of my bumper but nearly rips it off. They then claim I'm responsible for my "low-rida car". After an argument with the owner who realizes my suspension is stock, they agree to getting it all fixed up and give me a free tow.

Well, the mechanic looks it over and indefinitely claims the clutch is messed up. He fixes it and I pick it up this afternoon. Things are fine for about an hour and a half of easy driving. Tonite, I am driving to the bookstore and all of a sudden the symptoms arise again in completely the same manner.

Well, now I don't know what to do. I have no money left over to get more things repaired as well as funding for other expenses.

First, does this guy have a foot to stand on if he claims that I was the cause of it messing up again versus a shoddy repair?

Second, I now need everyone of you guys' infinite knowledge to diagnose what could be causing the problem.

Thank you, I will be on for a long while so ask all necessary questions you want.

Symptoms sound like crankwalk. Im sure its not common on n/t's but its still possible. Its hard to believe they fixed it for you and its happening again. Most likely its not the clutch. Did they install a new one?

i doubt the crankwalk for now, go talk to the mechanic again, they should fix it, couple hours on a new clutch??? seriosly. He better fix it. You should also go ask him the condition of the clutch to see if the actual PP or disk was the cause...also check your master and slave cylinder...PS get the hang of workin on the car yourself.. a lot cheaper and no dum mechanics to deal with:thumb:

First of all get that mechanic to fix it, since I'm sure you paid him and he didn't do it right the first time.

Then investigate(yourself) about either a new clutch, and as stated, check for crankwalk.

could possible be he aligned the clutch improperly. Check the previous clutch to see if it even had enough wear on it. Could also be master and slave cylinder as well. I HIGHLY doubt its crank walk... and who was towing your car?? I live in california and i have to pay each and every one of my tow truck drivers a tip in order to even CONSIDER towing my car. I watch them every step of the way up the tow truck. FLATBED ONLY!! But besides that, you better get on their a$$ to fix that bumper asap!!!!!
