This is going to be long, prepare! Some of you may have already read about this situation, but here is the most recent. Ill start from the beginning. Last year car ran perfect. Sat for winter, battery died, no stabilizer in fuel. I pulled the car out for spring and it wasnt running right. Little loss of power, and high EGT's. 1600 before I could get to 5K RPM in 3rd gear. So, I changed the fuel, changed the fuel filter, plugs, changed the oil, reset the ECU, got new battery, checked the settings on the AFC (didnt change), tested compression, tested wires to injectors, tested EGT probe, checked for boost leaks. Nothing fixed it. So i went to the dyno. Straped the wideband on, and was consistant with 11.8:1 A/F Ratio. Sounds good right? That is what it was at last year too. Logged timing curve, good. So i send the injectors off to be flow tested and cleaned thinking maybe one of them might be gummed or cloged causing uneven fuel displacment. Wrong, flow tests came back fine. Car is running a little better now that ive gone threw a few tanks of gas, but my EGT's still wont stay down. I am out of ideas as to what could be causing this. I know there are alot of DSM wiseman out there that know alot more than me and I hoping someone has some input.
