I have a 1991 Eclipse Gsx that Ive been working on. I had to get a new sending unit before I can do any work on it , because the bent pipe out the top of the sending unit was broken off. After getting the unit I find out that its rather hard to get that bent pipe off and thats how it was broken on the original sending unit. So I get up under the car to take the hose off at the front of the gas tank. Well the previous owner tried that too, and bent the fuel line. The steel pipe running under the car to the motor , that fuel line. Any advice on how to fix this, It cant be bent back out, because its kinked. So I don't know if somewhere you can get a oem replacment? Can I run a aftermarket fuel line on it from the tank to the motor? If I can what sized fitting or line etc would I need. Thanks for any help.:dsm:

You can either run a new aluminum hard line or SS braided line from the tank to the fuel rail. The aluminum hardline is a bit less expensive. If the line coming out of the sending unit is kinked as well, you can drill out the hard line and install a bulkhead with AN fittings.
