ok heres what it is.. i have a 95 eclipse gsx, with a built 6 bolt motor in it, im runnin into problems with a few things right now i have no second gear but im gettin a tranny, my probs are fuel cut from my bigger injectors it cuts at 4500 or 500 dependin when i get on it, i know thats too much air to maf, but im lookin for a cheap solution..anyone have 1??? also my car tends to surge when i shift out of gear like comin to red lights the surge will go to low and die sometimes.. i hear thats from where i have a 1g bov and no resurculation hose.... how will i put a aftermarket to were i can hear it and not have my car die out?i think my gears may have been lost due to a recent resurfacing of my flywheel and the fact i had a 2 g tranny on my 6bolt.. does anyoe know if a 90 model awd tranny will match right with a 91 model i heard there were some differences...?? please let me know somethin...

A 1g or 2g engine will bolt to either 1g or 2g tranny. HOWEVER, your shifter cables, shifter, slave cylinder, etc. Will not bolt up. So using a 90-91 tranny will no likely work. Also being that it is AWD the transfer case will not likely work either.

So back to the problem. First you need to just re-circulate the BOV. There is no way around it. If you want a cool sounding BOV buy a Greddy Type-S. They are REALLY loud even when re-circulated.

As for fuel cut, the injectors don't activate fuel cut the MAS and the rev limiter do. There are some other devices (like off throttle deccerlation) that activate fuel cut, but that won't be the problem. I suggest your do a boost leak test to make sure the car isn't leaking boost. If your car is leaking boost then the turbo has to pull more air in to make the same PSI, the causes the MAS to scramble and shut off fuel to save itself. Find and eliminate the boost leaks and that will likely solve the fuel cut problems.

So to sum it up,90-91 tranny won't work, recircualte BOV, find boost leaks and eliminate them, then came back and report.
