Why is my car starts to vibrates when my speed hits 80mph?

If I continue accelerate above that, it's fine. And also any speed below that.

Could it be my driveshaft bearings?
Anyone encounter the similar behaviour?

i had a smilar problem and it turned out to be a a bad driver side axle ..check to make sure your boots are not torn

Nope, the inner and outer CV boots are not torn at all.

Could it well be my car being too lowered? Will that affect this?

OK...same thing here...after 2 days I bought the car it was vibrating at 70MPH :)
All the possible cause:
-bad driver side axle!
-the uper control arm on the driver side!
-bald tire!
or
-tie rods??small chance but still

99% is the driver axle if when u're turning the vibration INCREASES!
PS: I had the driver axle problem...funny the ruber boot wasn't torn ...but the inside was!
good luck

I had a similiar problem, but I seemed to be lucky and completly fixed the problem with just a 4wheel alignment. Maybe yours is more serious. But every DSM has always had issues with alignment!
Just throwing out there my experiance.

I went to check again today and sure enough it's my driver's side axle is giving me problem. It has a slight freeplay in the CV joint.

I will get it replaced ASAP.

Thanks alot for all the list of possible problems that can cause my car to jerk!

Really appreciate it.

Good to hear that u located the problem!
Another good advice is to have the other axle chked' if u didn't already.
On my car the passanger side failed not long after I installed the driver side, so if you have some extra $ buy+install the passanger side one also.
Since I'm a physics freek I got a good theory :), after you install the new axle, more torque will be put on the oposite side=> failure sometime soon..like in my case. Not aplicable for DSMs with LSDs.
Fidanza axels sound good to me..or just the OEM ones will do if you got just some basic bolton stuff.
NOTE:BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN U INSTALL THE AXLE BECAUSE U CAN CAUSE A POSIBLE FUTURE LEAK! DO NOT BY ANY MEAN FORCE THE AXLE INTO THE TRANNY! I RECOMEND YOU KEEP AN EYE FOR OIL/TRANNY FLUID FOR TEH FIRST 100 miles or so!
PS:Sorry for my bad english...I used to live in europe for 17 years :)....and also Don't forget to edit your POST and add it as Problem solved.
