exhaust manifold???

I can get a DNP exhaust manifold, one without a wastegate for 80$ here locally. The manifold has been welded five times though from holes apearing on it. My mod list is in my profile. My question to you guys is: Is this mod worth the 80$, especially with the welded history of the manifold, or can my money go to a better mod, if so please state it.

If this is a daily driver I highly recommend against a tubular manifold. There are usually three different types of metal that make up this manifold. The runners, the flange, and the welds. Even if this is a true stainless manifold with all stainless welds they are in different areas. Therefore when they heat up and cool down they will expand and contract at different tempratures. So eventually over time it will break, like this has previously five times. I would put the money towards a nice cast manifold if this is a daily driver and you are looking to go that route. OK thanks, I was planning on having a daily driver. I wont buy that manifold then. Would you suggest I get a cast manifold or should I get something else like 3" turbo back exhaust, or is that to a bad idea?

Since you have a 2g I say keep your stock manifold and stock O2 but port them. Alot of people have made great power and have great times with these. So save your money and put it towards an exhaust.
