My boost seems to be really inconsistant, please look to my profile for my mods, but what happens is that sometimes it will sound like it is venting to the atmosphere other times it will boost pause then re boost, this is under WOT. I got my trusty boost leak detector and cant find any leaks, so i took all the hoses off and put them all back on, its still happening, could it possibly be the Waste gate act?

When does it sound like your venting to atmosphere? Under boost, or when your BOV should be blowing off? When you say "boost, pause, then re-boost" are you sure it's not a mis-fire? What is your "boost leak detector?" Is it a normal tester, and if so, to what PSI are you testing to? To me it sounds as though you have a nice boost leak that makes your car sound like your venting, and the "boost, pause, re-boost" is a mis-fire that is a result of your boost leak. Answer those questions and we'll take it from there.

I hear a hissing noise befor boost, then when i'm under boost its normal, then when the bov goes its much louder and i agree sounds better, but that isn't ideal when its on accident. Usings a standard homemade leak tester, and i was testing at 10 PSI. I can't find any leaks, so i took the line out and put them back on just to make sure. no go. The only thing i have changed recently is I put on a ground wire kit, but i do not see how that could be related, all thou it is making my idle a little odd.:dsm:
