Have been reading alot of topics on upgradein the n/t DSM to a high HP all motor 4G63..
So what is the size of the injectors and what can we upgrade to without the use of a s-afc...
Size's include
240cc --n/t
450cc --turbo 5sp
400cc --auto turbo
what about hyduia elantra? they have yellow injectors, not blue...

anytime you change factory settings you need something to monitor the new setting or you are asking for trouble $$$$ down the drain

Heard on another forum here, (all motor 4g63 engine forum) that you can change your injectors out and stay on your stock ECU w/o adding anything..And you can upgrade to a turbo fuel pump?

But stiil I do know you can use some engine parts from the Hyduie elantra

Um...No. Sorry.

Under no circumstances should you change your injector sizes without proper ECU modifications or the addition of a standalone management unit.

Yea figured you need S-AFC. Really did not want to run without one!..

yeah, that would work
I usually try to mind my own business about this type of thing, as everyone has their own preferences, but in this case I've gotta ask....
The parts you're wanting to put on your car could easily add up to almost $1000 or more, depending on what route you take....Why not just buy a turbo DSM and be done with it....?

turbo 2nd gen 5 speed = 450cc
turbo 2nd gen auto = 450cc
turbo 1g 5 speed = 450cc
turbo 1g auto = 390cc ***I Believe, correct me if I am wrong. **

you need either a DSMchip, SAFC, or DSMlink, or other tuning device when upgrading the injectors. The cars already run somewhat rich from the factory, and upgrading injectors on stock ECU will make you run rediculously rich which isn't a good thing to do.

Already got a turbo car. just sick of the all motor hondua's.
The 4g63 has the same spec to a slight differance, in sizeing.
But can produce a good power plant, turbo/ or non-turbo...

N/A is an expensive path to take, and you are already thinking too far ahead. You don't need to upgrade your injectors yet. Go for exhaust and Intake first. After that, get some cams, upgrade your head, and throw in some high comp pistons and a lighter flywheel. So far you have spent over 5k, easily, and still wont be at 200 hp.

That was sort of my reasoning behind the question I asked up there ^^^^

But hey, to each his own ;)

Fixing up an N/T could be a fun project for someone who wasn't looking for a reliable daily driver, but more of a "hobby". Go for it, if you're ready for the challenge :)

<-----Definate hobbeist here...
Nothing wrong with a all motor daily driver.
In fact I roll a tricked out n/t every day.
Whats to say A 4g63n/t could not top out, all motor 200hp honda...
