apexi AVC question

i have an AVC-r on my 96 eclipse gst. well i saw an article on a supra website how to more less tune the avc-r and basically it was the boost duty cycle percentage that determined the boost levels. Well no matter where i set the boost duty cycle the autometer boost gauge reads 9-10 on the gauge, is it like a bad boost solenoid ?? ive also been reading alot of articles about boost on here and, if the gauge reads 9-10, is that actually 9-10 psi ?? anything is much appreciated

It saounds like the gauge is reading right. My question is want are you looking for in boost duty cycle. If your saying no matter where you set it it goes to 9 or 10 psi something is wrong. That is stock boost. Do you have any after market fuel parts or is everything stock. I want to know do you have a boost controller?

well from what i was told it will only go up to stock boost if the lines are not right. i have the avcr on my talon and the same lines that goes from the intake to the bov u need to tee into that and put it to the side of the boost pressure valve and the from port on the valve go directly to the wastegate on the side port

the gauge is fine. im talking about my avc. I cant get the avc to raise the boost on the car. no matter how far i turn the avc up, i doesnt turn the gauge past 9-10.
