While trying to get a highflow cat on my car in replacement for the straight pipe, I purchased a Mor-Flo High Flow Cat from sportcompactonly.com I decided to get rid of the bolt-on setup that the exhaust is currently held together with, and have it welded. However, the shop I gave the Cat too for welding, says that it will hit the driveshaft if they try and weld it. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Suggestions?

If you your self can weld I say take care of it your self, or you can build from scratch. You ability to weld opens many options.
