I recently turned up the fuel psi on the regulator to 100 psi. Hahns Manual says i must see about 110 psi of fuel for 9 psi of boost. I thought the stock injectors are good for 9 psi with that fuel setting. So now when i start boosting it leans out really bad and i can't figure out why its doing that. Could the pressure be to high on the injectors and what should it be if so. Also it idles at 50 psi of fuel. :thumb: :dsm: :thumb:

Ok so you're using FMU / AFPR?

Mine used to lean out at 9psi in 3rd gear and higher really bad. It would be smart to get larger injectors if you are going to run 9psi. Also you will be running your injectors at 100% DC, which of course is not very good. With those internals you have and your list of mods you should be upgrading injectors then you'll be boosting 15psi plus!

Yes you could use those 550cc injectors. Just realized before you purchase them that the 420a eclipses require high impedance, saturated injectors, so in order to use those injectors you would need to fabricate a system. This is why most people usually go with 440cc mustang injectors to start with since they match up to our 420a's. What type of boost levels do you want to run? What turbo are you using?

the fmu should be adding psi per psi lbs of boost. mine does 2psi per lbs of boost with only 60 psi fuel pressure at idle.

Type injectors mustang into ebay and you'll get about 2 pages of results. If you want the 440cc injectors they're also 42lb injectors.

I have set the idle fuel pressure to 60 psi and after i plugged the vac hose back in it drops to 20 psi and the car shakes so i turned the needle valve out till it stopped and test drove it. Now it reads 50 psi of fuel so what does this mean. And how do i get it to run a ratio of 2 to 1. Also i will be buying injectors
