Winnipeg,
Ok, so in my 95 GSX, I havent changed the tire size, the gearing, nothing. Yet when my speedo is reading 60 mph, I am actually going a lot slower. Anybody have any idea what might be causing this? I thought maybe the guy before me, when he put in aftermarket white faces, might have put the mph faces over km/h gauges. But when I go one mile, it registers exactly on the odometer, so Im stumped. Please help.

My speedo did the same. There is a procedure for re-setting the needle on the face after a set of aftermarket faces is installed, and my vehicles previous owner did not follow. Unfortunately I do not have it, I simply used the electronic speed sensor and DSM link to match the two up.

Ya, you gotta be careful when installing those overlay white face gauges. If you bump the needles wrong, they'll never read right again. The springs are really sensitive and fragile.
