well u might see my earlier post down this forum a bit about my slow 2g with a 14b swap in it but it started progressivle runnin faster ...maybe somthin stuck in the intercooler like oil from the blown turbo?? neways pullin out the other mornin n gave it ab out 2/3 throttle n by about 3k rpm the boost shot to 26 psi tires started spinnen and boost was still climbin so i let off gas. Waited awhile till the engine was completely heated up and cut her loost wot from stop and she went to 15 psi. If I downshifted it would top out at 9-10 psi. SO i checked to make sure my wastegate was conected n it was arm moved freely....what is going on im using the stock acutator and the bov is fairly soft. Now I know anything above 15 psi is dangerous on stock fuel sys but 26 psi is ridiculous...what is going on????

I dont see a MBC listed on your vehicle info, do you have one? you should NOT be at 25psi with only 60% throttle with the stock boost solenoid connected properly

check vaccum lines to make sure they are all there and not leaking

Also if you think there might be oil in the intercooler, take the UICP off and see if any oil streaks are in it... if so take off the intercooler and clean it, there is a faq to do it...

i have no mbc and the acutator must be workin ### after everything is warm itl stay at 10 psi on downshifts and 15 psi from stop thinkin maybe the ic wasnt doin its job ### when engine is cold, intake air is more dense and colder...and when engine is hot, intake air is hotter and less dense?

maybe my car just wants to go faster so it tells the ecu to open the acutator later. Thats probly the most probable right? :D

Be lucky u can keep your boost below 15ish.. mine never does ....

I installed the 14b on mine about 6 months ago and had a mbc still no control..

I have to port my stuff and or get a atmos dump which i dont like.

Mine 1st gear wide open will boost about 16ish 2nd 18ish 3rd it just goes like theres nothing holding it back and the higher gears the same..

This what your problem is also?

one word....automatic  but wit it florred the boost will spike at the beggining of the next gear....

the wastegate arm moves freely you say?

My 14b & 16g wastegate actuators are quite stiff, and i'm unable to move the arm- are you able to do that? If the actuator moves freely and you can open and close (or even move) the gate, I'd almost wonder if the wastegate actuator is shot.
