well a few days ago, my car was idleing at around 500 barely staying alive. then, 2days later it would idle just fine around 7-800 maybe. then TODAY, my idle was at 1500 for the whole day! it would drop down to about 1000 at the least but was basically at 1500 for the entire day...is this ok or is there something i should check etc...thanx guys!

look into checking out a few things. have you done any work to the car lately? here are a few things to check for:

intake leak (tb gaskets)
failing ISC (easy to check for operation)
TPS (check with voltmeter)
spring on throttle cable (check the tension) i found the easy way to check is to put my foot under the gas peddle and lift up. If there is a change in idle then there is a problem with the cable tension and/or spring on the tb, as well as the stopper in the spring

thats all I can think of for now

More info is defintely needed. Also check to make sure the BISS screw is still in the TB, if it is pull it out and check out the O-rings condition. This can really affect the idle
