any Spyders left? need some help...

Ok, I've got a 98 spyder shell that i've been putting back together. I have a Haynes and a Chilton manual but these referances dont get Spyder specific. My problem is that when i got the shell it came with no doors and the rear speaker covers (plastic) were removed with every thing else under it. (metal bracket, speaker, conv. top motor, seat belts) I've piece most of it back together and have gotten some doors from a 96 Talon TSi, which was close enough to use. I've got the conv. motor back in and i'm getting the bracket for the speaker shipped in. The winows in the back are posing the problem, i'm not sure how they are suppose to work. Do they go down when the top goes down? do they have a seperate switch, if so do they have there own motor? can someone take a photo of there setup so i can see what its suppose to look like or send me a link to a diagram? I'm also looking for seatbelts for the front seats. The mounting brackets are different than a hard top. Your help is much needed even if you can only give me some advice on were to look for replacment parts for a spyder. (i've already checked the classifeds here and called the mistubishi grave yard)

There are 4 switches on the driver door, one for each window. And yes the go down with the top. I haven't pulled my car apart, so I don't know if they have separate motors. I will take a look next time I am in it.

funny i came across this...well.....i JUST so ahppened to take apart my 2 rear pannels in the car because i am putting fabric on them...annndddd...i JUST bought soem new seats and were going to get some new 4-pointers to go along with them which means i probablly wont keep my stock belts....so you can pm me if you need to!

there aren't seperate motors but there is a harness that connects to the switch on the center bezel , for top up/down. if the swith in the trunk behind the drivers side panel is in manual mode the windows will not go down when you hit the top down button, nothing will happen.its not a big deal if you can't get them wired together just put the windows down then the top the only reason the windows have to go down is to keep the weatherstripping from getting damaged.

ttetzner Thats not true, my top is in manual mode in the back and when I push the top down button all 4 windows go down but the top doesnt actuate. Then I have to get up and put the top down by hand.
