IC Pipes

Well I got my new (well another t25 that works, until I can afford upgrades) turbo in but I now believe that I have a boost leak still; I can't get past 15 now. I think the leak it coming from the uicp where it connects to the intercooler. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get one for cheap until I can buy the things I want. I would make my own but I want to check on one first. Thanks guys. I'll put a pic up tomorrow of how bad my old turbo was when I took it out.

Do you still have the stock BOV? If so then that could be your problem. Those plastic pieces of junk leak at right around that boost pressure, maybe even lower than that. If $$$ is a matter go for a 1G BOV, I'm running 22psi on mine just fine.

And if you're not 100% sure where the leak is coming from, and you think it's the pipe, then put some soapy water on it and watch to see if it bubbles. Might as well be 100% sure before you spend $100+ on something that's not your problem.

Well the rubber piece in the end of the pipe where it connects to the intercooler was ripped in half all the way around in the middle but I just put the bottom half back in a sealed it up and it helped a lot but I'm just not sure of it sealed it up all the way. I thought going to a new pipe would be better and assure that it is sealed. But now that you mention it, it may be the bov. I will try some soapy water and check the connection, then I might just buy the 1g bov hopefully with the pipe and use come rubber pipe to fit it to my intercooler.
