rattling at idle : 500 rpm's -- Turbo?

So i'm getting a really nasty rattling noise at idle (about 500rpms, no idle surge), i think it's coming from the turbo-- but i'm not really sure. I'm going to be taking a look at the thing later this week when i install my new FMIC and MAFT blowthrough. I'm just wondering if it's possible that it's something else so i know what to look for.

Also, if it is my turbo, would i need to replace it? or could i get it repaired somehow? (it's an evo big16g btw).

It is probaly because if your idle is at 500, it is way too low and the engine is struggling to stay running. Go to the idle screw on the throttle body and turn it up to about 750. see what happens then

Now, i read somewhere that while adjusting the BISS you need to ground out some sort of cable or somthing on the cruise control or else it messes with the ECU-- is there a faq somewhere for that? I honestly dont know crap about electrical stuff.
