I noticed the problem a day ago while sitting in highway traffic. As I start to accelerate, there is a moderate amount of groaning sounds coming from the right of the car. I can't tell whether it's coming from the front or rear, but from the driver's seat it's emanating from the right.

It seems to be making noise as the tires start to turn (Not when I am making a left or right turn, but as the tires start to turn from a stop).

Also, this morning on the highway the same groaning sounds can be heard after I lift off the gas and start to coast. When I apply any amount of pressure to the gas pedal, the groaning sounds become slightly quieter.

Thank you in advance.

First you need to find out if the groaning is coming from the front or back- a passanger is most helpful for this.

Check your balljoints, wheel bearings, and just your suspension in general. Take your front tire off and check for worn bushings, grease on your supports or on the outside of various fittings, etc. etc...

Some old lady around here apparently ran over somebody and didn't realize it; She dragged him for a few miles. Perhaps you should check for bodies? ROFL

I'll have a passenger listen to the noise as well. I'll update when finished.
