OEM Oil Filter

hey

i recently bought a OEM oil filter for my 1g and it came with a metal o ring. Do i need this O ring and if so where and how do i install it ? thanks

"metal O ring" = small metal washer? maybe 10-12mm diameter hole in the middle?

this would be a drain plug gasket to go between your drain plug head and the oil pan. they're typically mashed into the plug and you wouldn't even realize it has a washer.. but take a closer look and you'll see it.. shouldn't be too hard to get off

This is the metal crush washer that is designed to deform slightly to fit the irregularities of the sealing surface between the drain plug and oil pan. It should especially be changed if you noticed any oil drip from the drain plug.
