After getting my 16g installed, i noticed some oil in my coolant. Today i could see a lot of oil in my overflow bottle. I know this is the sign of a shot headgasket, but the car does not smoke, does not overheat and drives fine. I checked my oil and the oil level is fine also, so i am really puzzled on this one. All help is appreciated.

Run a compression test.

Also flush your radiator and drain your coolant overflow. Clean everything out and start fresh.

Just make sure you run the compression test.

Definitely check compression first as ddavisaf suggests and then flush/fill.

Did you do this install yourself? It is possible that someone might have mistakenly put oil into the turbo's coolant passage as an attempt to pre-lube :toobad: which is what you're seeing :dsm:

i did not install the turbo myself. A dsm mechanic i know did it. He used 1g lines and 1g j pipe, don't know what kind of homebrew he did, but i supplied him with nothing but the turbo, 1g j pipe, and lines from the 1g. My car is a 2g by the way.

I am going to flush the radiator this afternoon and give you guys an update, if i still see oil, i will do the compression test.

man i just had the same problem on my Car. I was mixing oil and coolant. my compression was perfect though 155 on all 4. So i then started to notice that my oil and coolant level started to drop with no smoke out the tail pipe. So then i immediately thought it was my head gasket and changed  Then to my surprise when i pulled the head off the gasket was perfect. I then checked the oil cooler and found it to be the problem. changed it with another one, and i haven't had a probelm sine.
