I recently swapped a motor into my 1g gst eclipse. Its a 6 bolt block( just check my info for details) with a 40k jdm head. I have a 125k old 14b in the car that ran flawless before I swapped the motor. Very very little shaft play while the turbo was out of the car. The car was also completly stock and has never seen anything higher than stock boost. I disconnected the exhaust and ran the car around a little today. I started getting lots of blueish smoke coming from the hood. Popped the hood to reveal it coming from the 02 housing where I had disconnect the exhaust. Before getting all this smoke I had checked the intercooler piping for oil and watnot and it was bone dry along with the intercooler(stock smic). A couple weeks back when I first started the car after the swap I was getting a bit of whitish smoke, which eventually dissipated. That's why I checked the intercooler and pipes. May have been from the new valves I installed. Compression test reveals 155 across. Is it a bad turbo?

does it smoke more when you boost it...

because when my turbo seals went bad i was smokin only on boost, but i also replaced the valve seals, and replaced the 14b with a 16g...

Nah thats not right. White is coolant, blue is oil/ turbo seals and black is to much unburnt fuel

ya you got it ^^^ that other guy had it backwards...

but u didnt answer my qusetion...

does it smoke when you boost it only or all the time???

once it gets warm it seems. Im gunna take it for a drive again today to see whats goin on heree.

So I started the car again today after the last time it was running got LOTs of blue smoke. This time I got blue smoke for less then a minute and then no smoke at all. I'm guessing it burnt up the oil in the intake track but how come no more smoke. I mean its good not to have it but no problems are solved

Maybe you had to wait for the seals and valves to warm up and settle. Metal expands and contracts when cooled or heated. It needs time to warm up and re-seal, you could say.

Pull your spark plugs, look for oil on the tips of them. Make sure your pcv is working like it should.
