I had posted a few days ago about lag in power and slow times at the track, so I went ahead and checked timing and it looked ok 5 and went to 7-9 with no ground didnt check the cam gears yet but I will. Then went to check for boost leaks made the tool and took the air intake hose off and there was oil around the outside of pipe, turbo, and inside of turbo inlet what does this mean and could this be causing my loss of power. After that I just stoped didnt even check for boost leaks, please help these cars are one problem after another. Thanks for the info

Try the search "oil intake" and search titles only
The basics are found in this post.

Oil in the intake is an indication of a loss of power because that oil is also in your intercooler. That oil is reducing the efficiency of the intercooler's heat transfer. Install a catch can and then do a good cleaning of your intercooler and all piping.

Start there; it seems that afterward you will have some tuning and driving issues to fine-tune still so keep us posted.

Alright I did a boost leak test hooked up the compreesor set it to 20 psi watched the gage and it never moved, so I tried it again for a long time. Kept it going nothing put my hand around pipes and turbo bam where the pipe that connects to a big 16g for bottom intercooler pipe was leaking bad looked it over and the way it was made kept the top bolt from tightning all the way and it would hit the pipe and weld on one side so it wasnt even sitting flush. After taking it all the way off I noticed the gasket was kinked from this to, well I hope this is my problem still dont know why my boost gauge was still reading boost over 10psi I will post if new pipe fixes it.

Are you still running the valve cover blow-by into your intake with no filter, or do you have a catch can?
And when was the last time you pulled and cleaned your IC?

If the answer is no...

i had this problem awhile back, oil accumulation in the inlet. Pulled the IC, cleaned it like this...

And went about my business wondering how the hell all that oil got in there. Did some research and found the most elementary solution for the problem here...

Now, for all I know, youve already done this and are sittin there like, thanks for nothing buddy. But I couldnt tell whether or not from your profile since there arent any underhood pics (I dont have any either :D )

If you already did this and this is no help to you at all, dont feel insulted, just trying to help.
Cheers,
