I am getting a sharp clunk under hard acceleration ( no tire spin ) that i can feel under my feet on the drivers side. It feels like if you have ever ran over a stick in the road and it hits the floor board. I have new engine mounts and roll stops and they are all tight, does anyone have any idea what could be going wrong

Check the suspension and the wheel bearing. To check the wheel bearing jack that wheel up and check grab it at 12 oclock and 6 oclock and see if you get movement also check the tie rod end. grab it at 9 olock and 3 oclock and check for movement.

I jacked the front up one side at a time and had no play at 12 & 6 or 3 & 9. I also checked the shafts and they also had very minimal play

If it isn't any of your ball joints or control arms, then check this.

I hope this isn't your problem, but I had two internal frame bolts break their welds "inside the frame". The bolts begin in the frame and point down through the engine cradle and a nut is screwed up onto it from below. There is a bushing and large round washer on that bolt also. See if that bolt that points down (out of the frame under the motor) moves at all when the car is jacked up. I noticed it on one side of the car once when I was doing my brakes. The bolt seemed loose, but wouldn't tighten, it would just spin. Finally the bolt on the other side of the car broke loose. Eventually, they started knocking around all the time while driving over bumps and when the engine would rock back and forth during acceleration and stopping. I had to have the dealership fix these bolts on both sides as this is not a DIY job. Took them a day and a half to cut into the frame to fix both bolts (and weld the frame flaps back) that had no reason for breaking whatsoever. They had never seen this problem before and it cost me over $650 to fix properly and it wasn't under any type of warranty.
