removing tb screw

i have a 91 eclipse and my idle is very high because the thred on the screw is messed up is there any way i can remove it or i need a whole new tb

If you're talking about the BISS screw, try running the right size tap through it, maybe it will clean it up. How did this happen anyway? Did you try to use a wrong size screw?
