115-50-125-120  was the compression read :notgood:

alright so here's what happened, water pump went out on high way. car was towed to the house. replaced the water pump. drove not even 1/4 mile and lost 2nd and 3rd cylinders. drove it back less than 1/4 mile and its been parked for about 2months. sorry for little information but thats all that happen'd

any ideas on why compression is soo low? next steps to take?

thanks in advanced everyone :thumb:

Try it with a different tester would usually be step two. If you're confident that those results are accurate, then it's time to tear it apart.

you may have washed the cylinders. that means that the fuel washed the oil out of the cylinder causing the piston rings to not seal properly so take the plugs out clean then and then use a blow gun and blow out the cylinders then add oil to them, install plugs let sit for 10-15 min to let oil seep down to the rings then try starting

im trying to find a machine shop around northern virginia or in virginia/maryland to get the ehad check'd out and have them do what needs to be done. any ideas of places?

plan on going by today and puttin a cap full of oil in the cylinder to check if compressino changes.

actually ive found it takes alittle more then a capfull to work cause if you thing about it the top of the piston dishs so the oil will collect there so you need to put more oil in to over flow the dish and seep to the rings hope it helps

didn't feel like starting a new thread but this is a fuel issue! new problem

im getting crap gas mileage.

yes im venting to atmosphere puttin a 1g bov tomorrow to recirculate back into intake though. also no cat or rear o2 sensor.

only codes being thrown are for the rear o2 sensor and o2 sensor heater.

whats causing my shitty gas mileage. 150 at most miles to a tank of gas on a very lightly modded auto gsx is crap! thanks in advance for the help everyone.

You'll need to accomplish the O2 sensor eliminator via www.vfaq.com Once you eliminate that your codes should go away. Also, run a boost leak test.
