Ok, to be as completely descriptive with this as possible I bought a 90 Talon TS-i about a few months ago. The car ran like ass when I bought it and didnt really drive. Since then I have torn the motor apart and replaced just about everything. Pistons, rods, turbo, rings, rod bearings, 90% of the gaskets on the car, the head was rebuilt, new valve seals, ignition coil, wires, and plugs. The car ran exceptionally well for about 250 miles, until the other night when i was getting on the highway and I boosted it up until 4k ish. After that the car has lost a substancial amount of power, wont go past 3k without sputtering and the engine is making somewhat of a hellish clicking noise. I checked the timing because I wanted to make sure it didnt slip any teeth and it didnt, the car idles kinda funny and dies every so often when coming to a stop, anybody have any ideas before I have a shit fit and sell the car?

I'd check the fuel pump. Its fast and easy.(alot easier than ripping the head off anyway) If not that you could check injectors. You said you changed coil, plugs, and wires so its probably not them. But who knows.

Hope you find out what it is :dsm:

Ok, the plugs I am running are NGK's, and the check engine light is on but it is because my ignition coil went bad (my datalogger told me that). Also, all of the belts have been replaced. My question is would a bad fuel pump be making a clicking noise? That and I may have done in the fuel pump because the turbo is pushin between 17-20psi, anybody know if that could affect it?

Try fixing the problem you know about before venturing into something that you can't troubleshoot ATM.
If something is wrong with your car, why don't you FIX THAT FIRST.
Then we can start fixing any other problems you may have.

If your coil went bad, you are probably not allowing spark to all cylinders. Meaning you've got raw fuel being thrown into the car. The clicking you hear is your car wondering why you haven't fixed it yet even after it told you what was wrong. :|

Sorry, I wasnt specific enough, my ignition coil went bad and threw the code, I just replaced it the other day and the light is still on. The problem I am having now occurred after I fixed the ignition coil. Not to sound dumb about this but I am looking for help on here because I wanted a project to work on, I have been fixing one bug at a time since the motor rebuild and I am trying to be as specific as possible, I would appreciate any advice I can get because im definately more of a Honda guy myself and have been trying to pick up any knowledge about DSMs that I can.

Okay, you fixed that. You need to get the codes ran again. Clear out the ignition coil code as well.

Check your ISC. Then check your TPS. Leave the fuel pump alone for now.

Ok I cleared the ignition coil code and it definately isnt throwing any more codes even though I know damn well something is wrong. My TPS seems to be fine and my car has no problem idling for the most part. I think im going to try and pick up a walbro 255 and see if that helps, any advice would be appreciated.

a 255 will over run your stock fuel pressure regulator.
You said you're idling fine for the most part. Go into more detail.

Ok well I just replaced the fuel filter and drove the car, it still seems like its hitting fuel cut as soon as it boosts. I really dont know what else to check besides the fuel pump. I am going to go over the whole engine and make sure im not missing anything, any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Fuel cut is caused by boost leaks. It has nothing to do with fuel. Other than there is none when it happens.

Soo... did you ever check your ISC?
Now you also need to do a boost leak test.
