i checked my compression...160 across the head. i have a walbro 255 and plenty of fuel. i jsut cant figure out why im not getting spark... :talon: help please

make sure your cas in plug in and also check to see that you dont have a faulty coil pack you also and a little transitor right next to the coil pack it looks square and if that is bad you will also have no spark..
 
i tried a different transistor...no change. checked all my fuses and there fine. i have a fisrt gen head on so the CAS is wired and saudered strait to the wiring harness.. plus i just bought the coil when i rebuilt the motor 2500 miles ago...toataly clueless :cry: :talon:
 
who did this solder job? is each wire completely able to sepatare from the rest? are they completely individually covered?
 
i did the soder job and yes all the wires are shrink wraped every wire and made sure they were tight :talon:
 
Forget it i found the problem...it was a broken ground wire to the CAS.. thanks for the imput though ROFL :talon:
