I went to change my plugs today and when I pulled out the plugs there were covered in oil...there was oil on top of the valve cover that has been there for a while... no smoke coming out of the exhaust so I dont think it is the head gasket..what should I do? How do you get the oil out of the valley...the car runs great though...thanks

There are four circular valvecover gaskets that seal the sparkplug holes. One or more is likely bad. Oil on top of the valvecover means either you have a crack in the VC (overtightening the bolts) or your oil cap gasket is bad :dsm:

Replace the seals, or buy another valve cover. If you DO buy another one that has been powder coated (Bonehead Performance) make sure you get all the sand out.

Was the oil at the top of the plug or the bottom? You need to run a compression test and make sure that you're not having excessive blow by (alot of oil getting through your piston rings).
