Backfire

aight, just recently when I accelerate at a quick pace it seems like the car backfires on me, makes that coughing effect, but only when I i really push on the gas, not if im just coastn or push on gas at a medium. So say im at stop light or just dirving like normal and hit gas hards it just sputters and the car kinda jerks too like my exhaust is clogged or something but it only does it for a little then drives like normal while still acceleratin, so any suggestions or ideas how to fix/wut the problem is?
