I own a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0L. :dsm: I recently replaced a my fuel pump the went out on me awhile ago. Whenever I start my car now it takes longer than it should for the engine to turn over. I was wondering if it was because of a bad fuel pump relay.
I cannot locate the fuel pump relay to test it. If anybody knows where it is it would help.

The fuel pump doesnt cut on till the engine starts to spin. Thats how it is supposed to be. Pull the pump back out and fix the oring between the pump and pickup assembly and it will be fine. I always just remove the oring and slip a piece of 3/8 rubber fuel line over thi outlet of the pump and then force that into the pickup assembly to remedy the problem. If you installed the pump yourself, Im sure you know what Im talking about.

Another question on the same subject I replaced me stock pump with the Walbro 190 and then when i went to start it, the car wouldn't turn over. I'm going to take it out and double check everything but if anyone has any ideas that would defiantly help.
