bad turbo or boost/vacume leak

I have been reading up on a lot of boost leak and vacume leak forums and no one seems to be having the same problem I am but there are definately signs of a leak or some kind of a/f problem. I have a light cloud of black smoke which makes me think it's my a/f ratio but I didn't even put my 550cc's on or my walbro so why would it be running rich o lean. I ran high boost and after about a couple runs it started to idle like crap. Now I also think it may be my turbo because when I had it hooked up before it would make a descent swoosh or pshhhh however you want to spell out a bov valve when you let off the gass. Now it doesn't make any noise. Is this a leak or is my little ol 14b done do to running to much boost. HELP PLEASE.

Check your ignition components. If you're getting poor or no ignition on one or more cylinders you may not be able to spool up the turbo. I believe mine to be in this state right now as well, but will know pretty quick here.
