Hey guys.. just got my car put back together after a blown headgasket, and the damn thing wont start. I have tried everything, triple checked the timing and its correct, pulled the fuel rails - its getting fuel, pulled the plug wires - all are firing, changed the cpoil packs and control module, flipped and turned the CAS - changes nothing, 135psi compression in all 4 cylinders... everything, and it just wont start.

Well, it has started a couple times, but very choppy, backfiring, etc.. and will only stay started as long as you have the key turned over, as soon as you let go, it dies. but most of the time, it wont start, just turns over and over, backfires sometimes.

Only thing else i can thing of is that the CAS wires came apart, so i Wired it back up, but had to cut the connecting plug... where it bolted to the actual CAS, and the wires before and after the plug are different color. Coming into the plug, there is black, red, brown and white, coming into the CAS, there is black, red, brown and white. I hooked the black to black, red to red, brown to one brown and the other brown to the white. It didnt work out, so I switched the brown and white. Also, I didn't put the bolt back in... is that some type of ground??

any other suggestions??

are you giving it gas when you try to crank it over slightly with your foot, that can help you start it up and try to keep it idling, it sounds like you possible could have flooded yoru engine trying to start it so many times. if thats the case take your plugs out clean them, and start the car give it gas let it back fire and burn the extra fuel out of the cylinders.
just a thought

135 is kinda low compression

I purposely avoided working on my case during my most recent no start/no crank condition, because it sounds kinda trick to mess with. You need to make sure that the CAS is correct. I mean you got balls for trying, but uhh, now that you messed with it, it's hard to troubleshoot anything else, cause not sure if you have the CAS set correctly...hmm

Do a search on the CAS dude. Get it right, and avoid ####ing with it for now, move onto other things IMHO.
