Radio Trouble

Hey guys, Pretty new to DSM's just got mine about a week ago. The problem is My radio gets no power at all. Like when the car is started is doesn't turn on or anything. Then i tried installing on aftermarket radio and still nothing. What could be the problem? I've searched and I'm still searching. Any help would be great. Thx

Did you check the radio fuse?

Up-date : I read through the FAQ. I connected the ground wire to a metal screw, everything is connected and still nothing. It doesn't even turn on. Thx

The unit im tryin to install has 2 brand new fuses. On both the 12v + wires.

There is a fuse for the radio power under your dash. The fuse should be a 10A. It's located just above the kick panel. Pull off the cover. It's in the top row 2nd fuse to the left of the removal tool. Is that fuse still good?

Yeah i went in to work and a guy who is really good w/ car electronics told me that. So it turns out that was indeed the problem. But thanks for the help regardless!
