I need some help!!! I just went from an auto to a standard in my car, i took the transmission from a 1996 talon esi, mine is a 95 esi. I had to change the wiring harness and the ecu. everything went alright, until i went to start it up and it would roll over but wouldnt start. so i done some research and i found that people have changed their firing orders from 1&4 to 2&3.
cranked it over a few times sure enough it started now im taking it out and test driving it everything seems fine but when i went to see what it would do and it wouldnt rev over 5000rpm's it would just pretty much fall on its face. so when it done that the second time i hurried up shifted to 2nd it chirped the tires and done the same thing when it got to 5g's. the other car has 2 o2 sensors mine only had 1 i wasent sure if that would cause it or not. i changed the intake, throttle body, injectors, installed a cai, header. it sounds like a rev limiter to me but i was told the standard ecu's reved out at like 7200 or something like that.. anywayz im all out of ideas and sure could use some help...
