Cant find some gears??>.?

After I put the car together, I fillled up the t- case and tranny, and bled the clutch decently by myself and I cant get it into 5th gear or reverse. It doesnt grind or anything its like its not there??? any help.

Well dont know how much help this will be but I had my 5th/ reverse go out on me, well it was more like it just disappeared like the same problem your having. About a week later it came back. Don't know what happened or why it happened but it did.

Ya I even tried adjusting the cables all sorts of different ways and still nothing

What year tranny and what year shifter and cables do you have? The 90 tranny, shifter, and cables are different from the rest. If you swapped in a 91- tranny, you either need to change the shifter arm and cable bracket on the tranny or change to a 91- shifter and cables to match what you have. Hope this helps some.

90 everything with pilot short throw shifter, it worked b4 i pulled the motor. Its a new tranny to.
