Cut Dump Tube*, Car stalling??

Ok I had this problem earlier with an upgraded ebay intake, put back on stock intake and car was FINE, talked to some local DSM'ers and they had me cut the Dump tube, now its stalling again, not as bad as before, but still if i rev it up past about 3k it drops to about 0 and 1/3 times stalls, some times it seems to recover itself. The dump tube is 100% sealed, is more air causing it?
 
Ok, i went outside checked all the vacuum lines, intake tube, BOV return, tightened some up, made sure the sealnt was still happy on the newly cut BOV dump tube, all good, so i start her up, let her run for a few minutes just to be happily warmed up, the rev it to 4k, idles, fine Rev it to 7k idles fine, so im like hm... maybe there was a leak and I tightened whatever it was, So i take her for a spin, Floor it and rev to like 6500 push in the clutch it drops down to about 600 but goes back up fine, does that for about a mile, probably tried it a good 10 times, then I do it while turning it it stalls, and from this point on any time i rev it up any decent amoun it stalls or attempts to stall and has a 50 50 chance of recovery, dropping down to literally 0rpm LOL. I get the car back pop hood check all connections and everything still look sfine,

Recent changes to car include new altenator, MBC,replaced near all vacuum lines with new vacuum lines from autozone, and boost gauge, running at 12psi (stock bov is definitely leaking, tried turning up the boost but it still wouldnt go above 12psi tops and some times goes down to around 9, ordered new UICP and 1g BOV tonight)

All i want at this point is for my damn car to run properly, Though i wish I hadnt cut the Dump tube, Im thinking its leading me to a different problem or not, but the stalling needs to stop LOL , Another thing I noticed is after it stalls, from then on every once and a while when i give it gas i can hear this.... rattle/ticking noise :-/
 
What do you mean BOV dump tube? You mean BOV return tube to the intake? Why would you cut that? I had the same problems as you, the car ran fine but as soon as you pushed in the clutch the RPMs would just drop to zero. After checking just about everything, and replacing the ISC and TPS, only a headgasket change cured it.
 
i cut it because its a huge air restriction, i didnt cut it off, you pull it out and cut off a few inches and stick it back in and use some JB Weld or other selant to ensure its not leaking, which I did. It seems whenever I change the amount of air going in my car immediately starts doing this. I cut it so I dont have a way to reverse it, but there are alot of people here that have done this mod with no issues so I believe the problem is elsewhere.
 
also if the car is below 2k and i push in the clutch its fine, its only if i rev it up to 2500+ then push in the clutch that it will drop to 0, even more annoying is if the car is sitting still i can rev it to 7k and it wont stall, though it does drop quite significantly.
 
Have you done a boost leak test, are you sure your new connections aren't leaking? If a leak has developed you may be losing metered air when your BOV actuates (or leaks). It might not be repeatable when free revving because it is difficult to blow-off when not under load.(at least stock)

well all I did since it started stalling was, 1st time install that itnake pipe, which caused my car to stall, so i reinstalled the stock intake tube and no more stalling, then all id id was cut out the dump tube and now its stalling again. Its very strange because I left the bigger hole unplugged last time (from the canister) and it wasnt stalling, but now i cut out the stupid tube and it stalls, its almost like my car cant handle the extra air :-/
 
Did you get that new BOV on yet? When I still had the stock intake, I shortened the pipe in the intake and it did the same thing. It caused my crappy stock bov to leak and that's why it would stall and idle would drop off.
 
jesus are youserious, you know I had contimplated that being the problem when I noticed my boost wouldnt go above 10ish LOL, I have the new UICP with a 1g bov on the way. Thanks for that info. Anyone know why i cant get my boost below 11-12? i have an MBC turned all the way out and it still wont boost below 11.5 at max boost(except sometimes it goes to 11.5 then drops down to about a 10-9 , Love it LOL)
 
Make sure it's hooked up right. If you're adjusting the MBC and it's not doing anything, chances are it's hooked up incorrectly. Bottom of the MBC T's into BOV-Intake Mani vaccume. Other connection of the MBC goes to Wastegate.
