Bought the datalogger on ebay, we all know which one. Hooked it up and started playing with the new toy. OMG All of a sudden its starts surging up and down at idle so i monitored everything and checked under the hood. what I found was that the fuel trims did not change they stood at 100.0%/101.5%/98.5%. 10 minutes later it went back to normal but the fuel trims stood the same reading high. Is this normal or is there something wrong with the logger.

first time using it ,dont know what the fuel trim is suppose to read at idle(by the way my SAFC is not hooked up yet) an Road testing the car it does change at different pulls stay's the same

The fuel trims start at 100% from the factory, meaning no corrections or changes have been made. So yours are just about perfect from the first post. The car will change the trims as is fit, depending on if you are knocking, then it will add more fuel and raise the percentage from the 100% starting point. If it sees you need less fuel, it will reduce it below 100%. On a 1G, the trims are set by the airflow amount, low trim is 0-125hz, mid is 100-175hz, and hi is 175 and up.

You won't really see a big change in any of them unless you changed your setup, or there is a drastic weather change.
