I have a 90 Talon Tsi w/ a 92 motor and for some reason, my tach doesnt work. I have NO idea what the tach filter/microphone looks like but i dotn think i swapped it over. Here's the irritating thing though, on the 90 cas i do believe the rpm wire (for the maf-t) is the white one but as soon as i switch it to rpm mode, my car runs like dick. (meaning it knocks w/ out any changes made) So i went to SBR and the one guy said to splice the rpm wire from the maft into the signal wire coming out of the coil pack and to no avail, it still doesnt work. Atleast i dont think it does. Im kinda confused why its not working and why my tach doesnt work until i spray my motor w/ water and why my logger still reads rpms? Any input would be great WTF
