I have searched a ton on this board and I dont know whats going on with my clutch. Ok my first thought when this started happening was my master cylinder was leaking, yes it was so I replaced it and its not leaking any more. I have adjusted my clutch pedal, it helped but then the "slipping happend again". I have bled the clutch system about twice for half an hour each time just to be SAFE and yet my clutch grabs fine for about an hour before it slips again.

I was thinking maybe when it started happening the flywheel might be glazed. Btw I have a clutch master stage 3 clutch in it, and it has about 15k miles on it. I am kinda at a loss as to what it could be right now at this point, I was under the assumption if your clutch is slipping would it not do it all the time?

Btw my gears are fine, I can move into gears easily its just accelrating after driving it for a while it shoots up in rpms, but my car continues to acclerate as well, wtf?

usually a worn clutch will like to slip a lot on the freeway in a high gear under load. If your clutch keeps slipping then get a new one fast. I waited to long to replace my clutch and ended up cracking my flywheel because of all of the slipping clutch heat.

The thing was I was driving home from a party and in 5th gear I was pulling and not loseing rpms still, things like that make me wonder about the clutch.

The clutch will usually hold until you hit near-maximum power. Lugging in 5th, the motor's not putting out much. Take it up to a high speed in 4th where the power's coming on and see if it holds. Even better if you can find an upgrade for it.

Well I tried it out, the clutch was holding pretty well on 4th gear, it didnt start to slip till after a while of some more driving.

Mt clutch would slip in 5th gear with a little to moderate load on it. You could hardly drive the car on the freeway at any speed. That is when you know your clutch is really bad. ROFL

I thought it would be dying. See my car on the highway will drive fine, but on street use it gets hot then it stops working.
