Let me list all symptoms so you don't have to go back to my previous post. I have white smoke pouring out of my exhaust after i knocked off my wastegate hose while installing my intake. I hit fuel cut numerous times and the next day is when the problem started. Along with the white smoke I have oil all around my oil cap. I had the car parked for a week while I wallowed in my own sorrow. Finally I checked the oil dipstick and it showed I had no oil. I removed the intake to check play in the turbo and there was a small line of oil sitting right in front of the blades but the play in the shaft was fine. I am going to run a compression test tommorow but can someone tell me if they have an idea what it is. I am hoping headgasket and not the turbo but I don't know. I am very new to import cars. Please, any advice is helpful.

If it were me, I'd hope turbo and not headgasket. Both are relativly cheap to fix, but just plain old PITA's. Do a compression test, see what it looks like. I'm assuming you know what the numbers should be? 125 is the factory service limit, but it should be higher than that.

Sounds like you cooked the turbo good. A friend of mine cooked his old T25 years ago and his lower IC had almost of litre of oil in it. Too much boost will kill your stock turbo in no time.

I just took the car for a little drive and this is what i get from it. The car is driving perfect, just the smoke problem. There is a little bit of a whine coming from the engine. Also there was a crack/pop noise when I turned it off. Turbo sounds and works good also. I am very confused?? The data from the compression will be posted tommorow also.

a Head Gasket is much harder to replace than a turbo IMHO..a Head Gasket requires removal of the half top of the engine, and you have to redo your timing belt all over again. PITA!
